The Zelienople and Evans City libraries are getting a boost in funding for projects to revitalize aspects and areas of their facilities.

State Rep. Jim Marshall, R-14, announced Thursday that two Keystone Grants will go to the libraries.

Of the combined $33,756, Evans City Public Library will receive $27,256 for repairs and upgrades to outdoor lighting and repointing of bricks.

Zelienople Public Library will receive $6,500 to go toward upgrading the carpeting on the lower level in the children’s librarian office, hall, staff break room, and storage room.

The grants were funded through the Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund.
