Route 19 closures stay through Dec. 23
CRANBERRY TWP — Single-lane closures on Route 19 just south of the township will continue through Dec. 23.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the single-lane closures in Marshall Township on Route 19, between Thorn Hill and Warrendale Bayne roads, will occur 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily until Dec. 23 as crews work to build a new bridge that will carry the Turnpike over the state highway.
The lane restrictions will be curtailed between Nov. 25 and Nov. 30 to accommodate the Thanksgiving holiday travel, but will resume Dec. 1.
This restriction is related to the Turnpike Commission’s Total Reconstruction Project between mileposts 28 and 31.
