Timko shares our values
On Nov. 3, Pennsylvania’s State House District 12 will elect its representative for the 2027-2028 term. Voters are encouraged to research candidate positions on key statewide issues instead of relying on campaign advertisements in television and social media. Republican Scott Timko’s positions include:
Data centers — Timko has consistently advocated that “Big Tech Corporations” pay for data center electricity in a manner that keeps rates from rising on consumers. He is cognizant of community concerns and would back legislation requiring developments to cover all costs of infrastructure improvements.
Energy — He supports Pennsylvania’s natural gas industry and its ability to stabilize utility costs.
Schools — Timko supports funding of public schools, as well as voucher programs for students attending private schools, respecting parents’ right to choose the best education for their children.
Property tax reform — He believes this can be accomplished while maintaining essential government services, including school funding.
Inheritance taxes — Pennsylvania is one of only five states with a tax on nearly all assets transferred upon death to any beneficiary (except spouse or minor child). Timko favors eliminating this tax, which encourages retirement migration to other states.
Term limits and reducing size of state legislature — Supports these efforts.
Capt. Scott Timko honorably served our nation for 12 years as an Air Force pilot. Now, he’s asking for your vote to serve in Harrisburg. He is a lifelong Butler County resident who shares our values.
