PennDOT hosting open house Aug. 14 to attract equipment operators

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is hosting an open house to attract full-time maintenance and winter-only maintenance workers in Butler County. The open house will take place Friday, Aug. 14, from noon to 4 p.m. at the PennDOT District 10 Butler maintenance building on New Castle Road in Butler Township.
Positions are available for both full-time and seasonal equipment operators, with a salary of $23.46 an hour. Seasonal positions will last roughly from September to April, with opportunities to advance to a full-time position.
Attendees will be able to apply and interview during the event. County employees will be available to answer questions.
