Pedestrian flown to hospital following crash in Saxonburg

A pedestrian was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after being struck by a vehicle Monday evening, July 20, in Saxonburg, according to Butler County Emergency Communications dispatch.
The crash was reported just before 5:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Carol Drive, according to dispatch records. Emergency services were on the scene until 6:19 p.m.
Saxonburg police, Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company and STAT MedEvac responded.
