Joann Bicehouse
It is with deep sorrow that we announce our beloved mother, Joann P. Bicehouse, 94, of Lancaster Township, was called home to her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 3, 2026, after a long and wonderful life.
Born Feb. 21, 1932, in Grove City, she was the daughter of the late Martha (McFadden) Lowers.
In her younger years, Joann enjoyed teaching Sunday school at Zion Lutheran Church and assisted with Meals on Wheels. She saved several lives by donating blood over the years.
Joann was an amazing cook and enjoyed baking. She also loved to crochet, quilt, create and paint ceramics and garden flowers. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Deborah (Alphonzio) McQueen, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Brenda (Jerome) Jana, of Auburn Township, Ohio, Ramona (Stephen) Lokey, of Clearwater, Fla., and Edward and Stephen Bicehouse, both of Harmony; her grandson, Shane Bicehouse; and her siblings, Martha “Pugs” (James) Hanna, of Franklin, Pa., Madalene Urey, of Grove City, Sharon Roche, of Texas, and Gary (Kathy) Lowers, of Sharon.
In addition to her mother, Joann was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Bicehouse, who passed away Dec. 23, 2018; her son, Jeffrey Bicehouse; and her brother, Larry “Ed” Lowers.
