Shapiro prioritizing road maintenance

Like many of us, a large portion of my day is spent on the road. Whether it be the daily journey to and from work or the long drive from my home in Butler to my college in Allentown, I rely on safe and open Pennsylvania roads everyday.

Due to Gov. Josh Shapiro’s meaningful leadership, I feel assured that these roads which make up my days are a top priority of my state government. I know that Shapiro cares about what Pennsylvanians need and is willing to take strong and effective action to keep these roads open for everyone.

When a critical stretch of Interstate 95 collapsed this time three years ago, Shapiro led a coordinated state, local and federal response to reopen the highway safely. What was initially expected to take months was completed in just 12 days under the Shapiro-Davis Administration’s leadership. This rapid response not only restored a vital transportation route, but also demonstrated a commitment to keeping Pennsylvanians connected to their jobs, families and communities.

This highlights what amazing things can be accomplished when our needs are put first by our state government. Shapiro consistently delivers real results where Pennsylvanians truly need them, like their ability to get to work each morning. This is the type of leadership Pennsylvania needs and it has been demonstrated time and time again by the Shapiro-Davis administration, making them an obvious choice this November.
