Norma H. Hite, 96, of Cabot, formerly of Murrysville, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Concordia at Cabot.

She was born Sept. 10, 1929, in Gormania, Md., a daughter of the late Thomas G. and Edna H. (Shaffer) Hanlin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna J. Kuzma; her two sons, Perry J. Hite Jr. and Wesley R. Hite; a granddaughter, Athena Oglesby; a grandson, Scott Oglesby; and her four brothers, Delbert Hanlin, Kenneth Leon Hanlin, Lloyd W. Hanlin and Glenn Lee Hanlin.

She is survived by her daughter, Colette L. Hite; a grandson, Michael (Danielle) Hite; a granddaughter, Chantelle (Troy) Todd; her great-grandchildren, Alexis Oglesby, Hunter Hite, Ashley (Joshua) Glaser, Sera Todd, Emma Todd, Hope Todd and Kaleb Todd; her half brother, W. Thomas Hanlin II; and her daughters-in-law, Janet Hite and Colleen Hite.

HITE — Visitation for Norma H. Hite, who died Sunday, July 5, 2026, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at HART FUNERAL HOME, 3103 Lillian Ave., Murrysville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, at Calvary Lutheran Church, in Murrysville (everyone please meet at the church), followed by interment at Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont.

Norma was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, and her family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Calvary Lutheran Church, 4725 Old William Penn Highway, Murrysville, PA, 15668, in Norma’s name.
