Happy to see McCormick, Fetterman step up
I would like to thank Sen. Dave McCormick, R-Pa., and Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., for making sure Pennsylvania was represented in the Great American State Fair. Without their intervention, the great state of Pennsylvania would not have been represented. Pennsylvania is where American history began.
Shame on Gov. Josh Shapiro, who stated that businesses did not want to be involved. In his words, “none were interested.” It reflects the sad state of affairs that we find ourselves in that the president has politicized this to the degree that some don’t want to participate.
After doing additional reading, I found that quote in the Philadelphia Inquirer and many businesses did want to participate, but were only informed two weeks before the deadline. Other businesses that are involved were informed in January. McCormick and Fetterman found businesses to come at no expense to the taxpayers. (Thank you, Crayola).
Shame on all the musicians that pulled out of this event celebrating America also. These people act like lemmings jumping off a cliff. Massachusetts gets raspberries from me also. Boston is known as the cradle of liberty. They started off the whole great experiment in freedom and they don’t want to be represented!
Can’t we all just be proud to be Americans for one day? Not Republicans, Democrats, liberals or conservatives, and celebrate that this great experiment in freedom worked, when the whole world was betting against us.
