Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company announced category winners in the annual Saxonburg Fireman’s Parade which was held Thursday night, June 25, along the borough’s Main Street.

Each of the winning fire companies and organizations was presented with a wall plaque from the Saxonburg VFC.

Best Appearing Rescue: Sarver Volunteer Fire Company

Best Appearing Pumper: Adams Area Fire District

Best Appearing Ambulance: Citizens Hose

Best Appearing Brush: Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Company

Best Appearing Tanker: Richland Township Volunteer Fire Department

Best Appearing Aerial: Oakmont Volunteer Fire Department

Best Appearing Antique: Peebles District

Best Appearing Specialized Unit: Pioneer Hose

Longest Distance Traveled: Washington Township Volunteer Fire Company, Westmoreland County

Judges Choice: John W. Thrower Fleet
