Richard Armstrong
Richard George Armstrong, 61, of Evans City, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
He was born Sept. 13, 1964, in Bellevue, Allegheny County.
Richard was mechanically gifted and could fix just about anything. He spent most of his working life as a heavy-duty truck mechanic for his dad at TruckMart USA on Route 422, in Prospect. He was also known for his kind heart and willingness to help anyone in need, showing that kindness through everyday acts of service, especially in the care and support he gave to his mother. Talented, dependable and generous, Rich was always ready to lend a hand.
He is survived by his parents, Pete Armstrong Sr., of Cranberry Township, and Ruth (Frank) Armstrong, of Evans City; his daughter, Randi Rock, of Prospect; his grandchildren, Mya, Skyler, Dominic and Regan; his siblings, Tracy Armstrong, Jeffrey (Alyce) Armstrong, Cindy Sadler, Lisa Armstrong and Peter (Tomi) Armstrong Jr; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Zackary Armstrong, who passed away in 2016; and his brother, Jason Armstrong.
