2 accused of stealing power tools from Buffalo Township business

Two people are accused of stealing rented power tools from True Value Hardware on South Pike Road in Buffalo Township.

Katelyn Anne Condon, 35, of New Kensington, and Christopher Leasure, 46, of Apollo, were charged Monday, June 1, with two misdemeanor theft counts following reported thefts in early May.

Police said Leasure rented two Hilti saws valued at $1,950 and $1,550 and did not return them.

Police said Condon rented a Husqvarna saw valued at $1,000 and a Bosh electric hammer drill valued at $200 and did not return them.

In both cases, the items had not been returned by May 16.

Leasure and Condon have preliminary hearings scheduled for 2 p.m. July 7 before District Judge Jack Ripper.
