Aaron Bernstine is a state representative representing the 8th Legislative District, which includes Butler and Lawrence counties.

State Rep. Aaron Bernstine, R-8th, is hosting two events in Butler County for veterans and members of the public to learn about issues and ask questions.

A veterans event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Department. Bernstine said the event will give him the opportunity to hear from veterans on how best to support them.

The event is free and open to all veterans and active-duty military personnel. A light lunch will be served.

Additionally, a town-hall meeting will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. the following day, May 14, at the Penn Township Municipal Building.

Topics will include legislative priorities, statewide issues and matters impacting Butler County. Residents will also have an opportunity to ask questions and participate in the discussion.
