Sally Houllion

Houllion

Sally Anne Napora Houllion, 86, of Renfrew, peacefully passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026, and because she made the decision to trust in Jesus as her Savior, we know she is now in His presence, which brings us comfort and joy in the midst of our loss.

Born Nov. 22, 1939, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late John A. Napora and Sally Rudosky Napora.

Following her graduation from Butler High School in 1957, and after attending college, Sally accepted a position as a juniors’/women’s sportswear buyer at A.E. Troutman Co. She was later employed for 24 years at Montgomery Ward, and then she worked as a paraprofessional at Butler Senior High School, retiring in 2013.

She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

Sal loved vacationing at Virginia Beach with her husband, Bob, whom she adored, and their wonderful children. She also enjoyed reading, dancing, golfing and college sports. She savored her vodka martinis straight up with three olives. Most of all, she loved the times spent with her family.

She is survived by three children, Jeffrey Houllion, of Mt. Lebanon, Shelley Duffy-Alexander and her husband, Paul, of Eighty Four, and Jennifer Cadamore and her husband, Brian, of Cabot; eight grandchildren, Alexandra Duffy and her husband, Steven McCarthy, Sarah Duffy, Robert Houllion, Jessica Houllion, Rachel Houllion, John Cadamore and his wife, Andrea, Matthew Cadamore and his wife, Meghan, and Benjamin Cadamore and his wife, Quinn; nine great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Ivy, Max, Frankie, Tripp, Briggs, Silas, Zoe and Josephine Anne, who is arriving in July; one brother, Dr. John A. Napora, of Tampa, Fla.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert “Bob” J. Houllion, whom she married March 27, 1961, and who passed away Sept. 20, 2021; her beloved daughter, Rebecca Jo “Becky” Houllion, who passed away Jan. 24, 2023; and her sister, Marsha Kowal.

We extend a special thank you to the nurses of Lutheran Senior Life VNA for the love and care they gave our mom, as well as the support they provided to her caregivers.

HOULLION — There was no visitation, and services were private for Sally Anne Napora Houllion, who died Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
