Police reports as of May 4, 2026
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
April 19 — Paul Thomas Downey, 44, of Cranberry Township, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple assault, resisting arrest and obstruction following an April 19 incident. Police said Downey would not identify himself, pulled away from officers and restricted a woman’s breathing.
April 19 — Megan Roselyn Bartley, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following an April 19 incident. Police said Bartley bit and struck a man.
April 20 — Stevona Shendell Morgan, 31, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor driving on a suspended license following an April 13 traffic stop. Police said Morgan was driving on a suspended license.
April 20 — Tyler Anthony Sachs, 31, of Mars, was charged with felony strangulation and one misdemeanor count each of terroristic threats and simple assault following an April 18 incident. Police said Sachs restricted a woman’s breathing, threw her against a wall and said he was going to kill her.
April 20 — Tiffany Marie Ressler, 34, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest following an April 19 incident. Police said Ressler wrestled with officers before being taken into custody.
April 24 — Anthony David Jourdan, 37, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an April 22 traffic stop. Police said Jourdan had suspected fentanyl and Xylazine, nine syringes and a glass pipe.
April 24 — Steven T. Guthrie, 44, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock following an April 21 traffic stop. Police said Guthrie was operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock, a device that prevents someone from operating a vehicle if it detects alcohol on their breath.
April 23 — James E. Wilson, 53, of Butler, was charged with one felony count each of fraudulent insurance claim and theft following a June 11 insurance claim. Police said Wilson filed a fraudulent claim with Auto-Owners Insurance that resulted in a payment of $4,605.12.
April 21 — Brian Daniel Dowling, 59, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following an April 21 incident in Franklin Township. Police said Dowling punched a woman in the face.
April 21 — Adrianne Laurel Dowling, 50, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following an April 21 incident in Franklin Township. Police said Dowling struck a man in the face with antlers.
April 21 — Nicanor Andrada Sr., 47, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a March 8 traffic stop in Franklin Township. Police said Andrada had a blood alcohol content of 0.115%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
April 21 — Bo Brady Murray, 41, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an April 7 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Murray showed signs of impairment and had a bag with suspected cocaine and a Chore Boy.
April 21 — Trina Marie Holderman, 36, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a March 10 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Holderman tested positive for fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine.
April 21 — E’Marion Michael Bebbs, 21, of Girard, Ohio, was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession following an April 7 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Bebbs had a bag of suspected marijuana.
April 23 — Tracy Lynn Devlin, 58, of Zelienople, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a March 28 traffic stop in Jackson Township. Police said Devlin had a blood alcohol content of 0.107%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
April 24 — Michael Lam Franklin Jr., 24, of Pittsburgh, was charged with felony fleeing police following a Sept. 24, 2024, crash in Cranberry Township. Police said Franklin fled the scene of a crash on foot.
