Carol “Sis” (Smith) Campbell, 74, of Butler, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026.

She was born in Portersville April 28, 1952, and was the daughter of the late Lawrence Steighner and Lela (Boyd) Turner.

Sis was employed as a seamstress, and enjoyed gambling, playing Yahtzee and Scrabble, taking care of her flowers and spending time with her Chihuahuas. She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.

Sis was the beloved wife of the late Patrick Campbell; mother of Shane (Deserea) and Kandi Smith; sister of Shirley Minich; grandmother of Jay (Kayla) and Harley Smith; and great-grandmother of Arya and Ava Smith.

Along with her parents and husband, Sis was preceded in death by her previous husband, John Smith, and her brother, Carl Steighner.

CAMPBELL — Family and friends of Carol “Sis” (Smith) Campbell, who died Thursday, April 30, 2026, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
