Amy Stenman

Stenman

Amy L. Stenman, 48, of Butler, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026.

She was born in Sunnyvale, Calif., on Oct. 16, 1977, the daughter of Janet Moureaux and the late Richard Johnston.

Amy graduated from Butler High School in 1996, and furthered her education at Butler County Community College, where she earned her phlebotomy certification. She was employed as a phlebotomist at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Amy was known for being a loving wife, mother and a great friend. She was family-oriented, dependable, strong and sarcastic. Many would say, “WWASD,” or, what would Amy Stenman do.

In high school, she played the violin. Amy enjoyed spending time floating in the pool, shopping, going to concerts and relaxing with a glass of wine. She loved being around her daughter and dogs.

Amy was the beloved wife of Jamie Stenman; mother of Lily Stenman; and sister of Mark Johnston. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Candace Bricker; sister-in-law, Alysha Bricker; and nephew, Zachary Johnston.
