Sarver man injured in Jefferson Township motorcycle crash
A Sarver man was transported to a hospital after his motorcycle went off the road and struck a ditch Friday, April 17, in Jefferson Township.
According to a report from Pennsylvania State Police, Michael Altemus, 72, was riding his 2023 Honda NT1100 motorcycle west along Alwine Road when he lost control, went off the road and struck a ditch before finally coming to rest.
According to the report, he sustained a suspected serious injury and an ambulance from Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company took him to Allegheny General Hospital.
