Berol

Suzanne B. Berol, 79, of Gibsonia, passed away Thursday morning, April 16, 2026, in the comfort of her home.

Born in Pittsburgh on Feb. 25, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. and Jane Vorech Boucek.

Suzanne received her Bachelor of Arts in art history from Chatham University and her master’s degree in library science from Simmons College. She was in the Phi Beta Kappa Society.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mars.

Surviving are her son, David Berol (Laura), in Virginia; her grandchildren, Nate, Ben and Tiffany; two brothers, Albert J. Boucek (Lisa), of Allison Park, and Dr. Charles Boucek (Lynn), of Upper St. Clair. She was the aunt of Ashley Boucek Turner (Matthew), Chelsea Walters (Timothy), Carolyn Certo (Michael), Daniel Boucek (Brayden) and Adam Boucek.

BEROL — Friends of Suzanne B. Berol, who died Thursday, April 16, 2026, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Katie McNeal officiating.

Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
