The Route 422 eastbound on- and off-ramps at the Route 422/Route 19 interchange will be closed between April 20 and 26 as a result of the Route 422 resurfacing project in Slippery Rock and Muddy Creek townships. In the event of inclement weather, the closure will be delayed to between April 27 and May 1.

In addition, the Route 422 westbound on- and off-ramps at the same interchange will be closed between April 27 and May 1, or between May 4 and May 8 in the event of inclement weather.

Resurfacing work will continue through Oct. 30 along Route 422 from the McConnells Mill Road intersection to the West Park Road intersection.

Lindy Paving Inc. is carrying out the resurfacing project, which is estimated to cost $5.6 million.
