West Liberty mayor was 81
A longtime local government official for West Liberty Borough has died after 30 years of service, including stints as mayor and judge of elections.
Betty Grace Kreutz died Monday, March 30. She was 81.
Kreutz was born in Butler in 1945. She lived in West Liberty with her husband, Raymond Louis “Pooch” Kreutz, who died in 2017.
Leading a nearly 11 square-mile borough of 335 people, she was also a member of West Liberty United Methodist Church.
She won her last election unopposed.
