Donna K. George, 77, of Butler, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026.

She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Nov. 3, 1948, daughter of the late Donald and Kathryn (Bergstrom) Peterson.

Donna graduated from Plainedge High School, Massapequa, Long Island, N.Y., in 1966. Donna was instrumental in starting three physician practices in Butler. She enjoyed sharing her organizational skills and business acumen.

Donna was known for being protective of her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, drinking her Starbucks Vanilla Bean Frappuccino and cruising with Mike and their cruise group.

Donna was the beloved wife of Michael R. George, whom she married Sept. 14, 1968; mother of Robert George and Karyn (David) Snyder; and grandmother of Wesley Geracia and Luke George.

GEORGE — All arrangements for Donna K. George, who died Monday, March 30, 2026, were made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

Burial will be held privately at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society in honor of Donna.
