Police: Indiana woman threw knives at woman
An Indiana woman is accused of throwing knives at another woman inside a Butler residence.
Mya Jean Hubbard, 23, of Sellersburg, Ind., was charged Monday, March 23, by Butler police with felony aggravated assault following an incident over the weekend.
Police said they responded to a Hazel Avenue residence for reports of a fight. A woman there told police Hubbard had thrown knives at her, which caused a puncture wound in the right side of her chest; and threw an ashtray that struck her in the nose.
Police said Hubbard also scratched and bit the other woman, who required treatment at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Hubbard’s preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled.
