Mars, Adams Township to hold public hearing on merger proposal Tuesday night

Adams Township and Mars Borough are holding a joint second public hearing on the proposal for a municipal merger at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, at Twelve Oaks Mansion on Scharberry Lane.
Those who haven’t done so yet are urged to register through Adams Township’s dedicated merger website if they are interested in attending.
A previous merger-related public hearing was held Jan. 22 at the same venue. Unlike the first hearing, Tuesday’s hearing will feature personnel from Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development to discuss the proposal.
