Police reports as of March 20
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
March 12 — Jessica Marie Kotula, 44, of Valencia, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a March 7 traffic stop. Police said Kotula had a blood alcohol content of 0.113%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
March 12 — Matthew Francis Koma, 28, of Pittsburgh, was charged with felony retail theft and misdemeanor resisting arrest following a March 11 incident. Police said Koma attempted to kick officers and to steal a bottle of wine.
March 11 — Gerry P. Foster, 67, of Slippery Rock, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple assault, harassment, trespass and disorderly conduct following a March 10 incident in Prospect. Police said Foster was in an area he was not supposed to be, intentionally bumped a man and attempted to start a fight.
March 11 — Dillon Inman Wahnon, 45, of Renfrew, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a Feb. 21 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Wahnon showed signs of impairment.
March 11 — Ryan Shayne Wade, 39, of Mayport, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a March 4 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Wayne had THC wax and a rubber smoking device.
March 11 — Derek Eugene Morter, 38, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a Feb. 22 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Morter had suspected marijuana and a glass smoking device.
March 11 — Corinne Anderson, 63, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a Feb. 20 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Anderson had a glass smoking pipe.
March 12 — David John Wilt Jr., 28, of New Castle, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Jan. 30 crash in Lancaster Township. Police said Wilt had a blood alcohol content of 0.196%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
March 12 — Mykel Jay Juan Altman, 32, of Youngstown, Ohio, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts following a Feb. 20 traffic stop in Butler Township. Police said Altman tested positive for THC and had a blood alcohol content of 0.182%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
March 18 — Police investigated a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Oneida Valley and Hooker roads in Concord Township. Police said John R. Cravenor II, 49, of Karns City, driving a Jaguar, pulled out in front of the Peterbilt of Devan A. Ruff, 33, of Forestville. The Jaguar then struck the Honda HR-V of Stacy L. McDonald, 59, of Chicora. McDonald and the passenger of the Jaguar, Kimberly L. Cravenor, 43, of Karns City, sustained suspected minor injuries.
March 12 — Marcus Allan Shell, 30, of Ellwood City, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Jan. 22 crash. Police said Shell showed signs of impairment.
