I wish you could see me now,

I have wings, I can fly.

I know you miss me dearly,

I can hear your prayers

and the sobs that hide your fears.

But don’t fret that way,

it only allows your hurt to stay.

I am free now,

this is my home,

my happiness.

I miss you dearly,

but I shall see you in time,

Then you will know

the joy that is mine.

Hand in Hand we’ll walk down

these streets of gold,

Love and Peace

you will then hold.
