Only service animals should be allowed in grocery stores
Recently, every time that I go to Walmart, there are pet dogs in the food/grocery aisles of the store. One time a dog had pooped on the grocery floor and an employee was cleaning it up. He should receive hazard pay.
Another time, I witnessed a dog sniffing and licking boxes of cereal on the lower shelf. Tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 7:21 p.m., a customer had his pet dog in the shopping cart where I would place my food. I can guarantee that Walmart does not sanitize the shopping carts. This is a health hazard.
Only service animals should be allowed in a grocery store. I sent this same letter to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, along with pictures, because I think Walmart needs some encouragement from the government.
