The National Weather Service is expecting weather for Thursday, Jan. 29, to be similar to Wednesday’s, according to a spokesperson in the Pittsburgh office.

The spokesperson said air temperatures during the day are expected to be in the high teens during the afternoon before shifting to lows in the negative single digits and teens during the night.

The weather service also expects light snow showers throughout the day with little to no accumulation.

Wind speeds will be 5-10 mph throughout the day but should slow during the night, the spokesperson said.
