Mustello announces 2026 reelection bid
State Rep. Marci Mustello, R-11th, announced on Tuesday, Jan. 6, she would be running for reelection in November 2026 for a fourth full term in office.
Mustello first took office in June 2019 after winning a special election for the District 11 seat over Democratic candidate Samuel Doctor.
In her last election campaign in November 2024, Mustello held off Republican challenger Ryan Covert in the primary before defeating Libertarian opponent Justin Konchar in the November general election.
In a news release Tuesday, Mustello pledged her commitment to keeping government spending low and protecting the taxpayers of the 11th Legislative District, which consists of the southeastern part of Butler County.
“Families in Butler County are working hard and feeling the impact of rising costs,” Mustello said. “They deserve a state government that respects taxpayers, operates within its means and focuses on growing our economy, not expanding bureaucracy.
“I’m proud to fight every day for Butler County taxpayers and look forward to continuing that work.”
