Three incumbents reelected to Callery council

Two Republicans and one Democrat were reelected to four-year terms on the Callery borough council in the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Republican Crystal Huffman secured 84 votes, or 31.6% of the vote, while Republican and current council President Rose Wirtz received 71 votes, or 26.7% of the vote, according to unofficial election results reported in Butler County Bureau of Elections precinct reports.

Meanwhile, Democrat incumbent Linda Wearing garnered 47 votes, or 17.7% of the vote.

Newcomer Mary McIntyre, also a Democratic candidate, only received 42 votes, falling just shy of earning a seat.
