For those looking for a convenient place to rid themselves of unneeded and/or private documents, state Rep. Aaron Bernstine, R-8th, will be hosting a public shredding event at the Forward Township municipal building on Ash Stop Road on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to noon.

This event is intended for documents such as Social Security documents, financial or medical details, and similar documents. Residents are asked not to bring phone books, magazines or newspapers.

No registration is necessary for this event.
