The Dementia Family Caregivers group at South Butler Community Library in Saxonburg is hosting a special event on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 6 p.m. to celebrate its second anniversary.

Any community members who are caring for someone with dementia are welcomed to attend, regardless of whether they’ve previously attended.

For those taking care of a family member or friend with dementia, the library hosts a “Caring for the Caregivers” seminar, a safe space for caregivers to discuss their situation, every second Thursday of the month with certified dementia practitioner Michelle Govan.
