7:37 p.m.: Butler trails after first quarter
Hollidaysburg is up 7-0 on the unbeaten Golden Tornado and has possession after an interception. This is the first time Butler has been 3-0 since 2002.
7:31 p.m.: Jump ball touchdown? Jump ball touchdown, North Catholic
Not much is more fun than watching a jump ball go for a touchdown. North Catholic just went up 21-0 seconds into the second quarter over Quaker Valley when QB Joe Felitsky chucked it up in the air for his receiver, and he snagged it just passed the goal line. (Also quite the timing when clicking over to the livestream.)
7:17 p.m.: Slippery Rock extends lead, Norwin up early on Seneca Valley
And just like that, the Rockets are ahead 14-0. Following a Grove City turnover, Doug Popovec took a QB keeper 5 yards into the end zone. Four full minutes have yet to elapse.
And in WPIAL Class 6A action, Norwin is up on Seneca Valley after a 12-yard TD pass with 7:37 left in the first quarter.
7:13 p.m.: Slippery Rock takes early lead over Grove City
It did not take long for Slippery Rock to get on the board in its rivalry game against Grove City. Owen Long dashed in from 4 yards out to cap a 77-yard drive, giving the Rockets a 7-0 lead early, per reporter Derek Pyda.
