Sharon Anno
Sharon Joan Anno, 79, of Harmony, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025, at her residence.
Sharon was born Oct. 24, 1945, in Utica, N.Y., and was the daughter of Raymond and Margaret Nash Kitchen.
She was a housewife. Sharon had been a part-time secretary and docent for the Harmony Museum for many years, and she was a member of Beta Y Gradale. Sharon also attended St. John’s Stone Church in Harmony and Grace Bible Church in Middle Lancaster. She enjoyed knitting and cooking.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Anno, whom she married Sept. 24, 1966; one son, Peter Anno of Harmony; one brother, Les (Lorrie) Kitchen of New York; one sister, Charlene (Bob) Hauck of Virginia; three grandchildren, Martin, Vanessa and Paul; one son-in-law, Oliver Meidl; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennifer Meidl, who passed away in 2018; one sister, Phyllis; and one brother-in-law, Phillip Trost.
ANNO — Per her request, there was no public visitation for Sharon Joan Anno, who died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025.
Burial took place at the St. John’s Stone Church Cemetery in Harmony.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harmony Museum.
Arrangements were entrusted to the JAY BRYAN FUNERAL HOME, Prospect.
