State police conducting ‘Operation Nighthawk’ DUI enforcement
State police Troop D will be conducting Operation Nighthawk, a DUI enforcement initiative, on the weekend of Friday and Saturday.
The operation will span Butler, Erie, Jefferson and Washington counties, with more than 50 state troopers and municipal officers patrolling designated DUI enforcement areas.
Operation Nighthawk also includes classroom instruction for officers on DUI case law and drugged driving.
