The Butler County Area Agency on Aging is bringing back the classics with a sock hop in Alameda Park set for Thursday, Aug. 28.

The event will start at 5 p.m. with a DJ and dancing at the Masonic Shelter. At 6:30 p.m., Pine Shelter will be host to bingo, games and giveaways.

The night is set to conclude with the movie “Grease” being shown under the stars at 7:45 p.m. at First Responders Pavilion. Chairs will not be provided.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase during the event.
