The Jackson Community Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting development in Jackson Township, will host the first “Taste of the Town” event at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at the Pittsburgh Events Center on Wise Road.

The event gives attendees a chance to sample food from restaurants and food vendors across Jackson Township.

Tickets for the event are $35 each, and all ticket sales benefit the Jackson Community Foundation. Higher tiers of tickets are available, including reserved VIP tables. As of Tuesday, Aug. 5, there are still 12 spaces available for food vendors.
