An Evans City man was charged after allegedly throwing bricks at two vehicles in Forward Township.

George Louis Talbot, 57, was charged Tuesday, July 22, with two misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief following a July 12 incident.

Police said Talbot was mowing grass when a man arrived at Talbot’s residence to pick up his children. Police said Talbot and the man had previous altercations, and the July 12 incident escalated from an argument to Talbot allegedly throwing bricks.

Police said they arrived on scene and spoke with a man picking up his children. The man told police Talbot approached him while yelling then picked up two bricks and threw them at the passenger door of the man’s truck causing paint damage.

Another man also went to the residence with Talbot after he did not feel safe picking up his children. Talbot reportedly also threw a brick at the front of his vehicle causing damage to the hood and grill.

Talbot’s preliminary hearing is yet to be scheduled.
