Western Pennsylvania Salvation Army reshuffles leadership team
The Salvation Army of Western Pennsylvania — which covers Butler and 27 other counties — on Monday welcomed Majors Marcus and Joy Jugenheimer as its new divisional leaders.
The Jugenheimers are replacing Majors Gregory and Joyce Hartshorn, who have now retired from the Salvation Army after having served as leaders of the Western Pennsylvania division since January 2021.
“We are deeply grateful for this opportunity to share and show the love of God through service here in Western Pennsylvania,” Marcus said in a news release. “We look forward to meeting each one of you as we listen and learn of the great work already underway in our communities. Thank you for welcoming us, it is an honor to serve alongside such a passionate team.”
Both Marcus and Joy have previously served at the Salvation Army divisions of Greater New York, Massachusetts and New Jersey.
