Slippery Rock athletes make all-region teams in baseball, softball and track and field
District 10 all-region teams were announced this week, with multiple Slippery Rock athletes earning honors.
Region 2 baseball all-star honors went to catcher Connor Zorn and third baseman Jacob Kunsman on first team, with Parker Dalcamo (second base), Casey Darr (outfield), Owen Long (utility) and Austan Runtas making second team.
Softball’s Lilly Campbell was named Region 5 First Team at catcher, and Savannah Smith (third base) was named second team.
Girls track and field’s Autumn Christie was named Region 2 First Team in the javelin, with teammates Aiva Reich (100 hurdles), Samantha Montgomery (triple jump, long jump) and the 4x800 relay team of Leah Perez, Tessa Szymanski, London Galino and Kasey Yeager earning second team honors.
On the boys’ side, Dustin Joyce (long jump) and the 4x400 relay team of Josh Tustin, Alex Patsilevas, Hunter Doerflinger and Joyce made Region 2 Second Team.
