Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

June 1 — Joseph Floyd Johnston, 70, of Renfrew, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI following a June 1 incident. Police said Johnston had a blood alcohol content of 0.145%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

June 2 — Miller John Marks, 20, was charged with felony theft following a May 30 incident. Police said Marks stole a washer and dryer worth $2,200 from a previous landlord.

Butler

June 2 — James Vincent Young, 67, of Renfrew, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a Feb. 23 crash. Police said Young had a blood alcohol content of 0.114%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

June 3 — Shawn Miles Crusan, 39, of East Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a May 29 crash. Police said Crusan admitted he was intoxicated.

June 3 — Donald Edward Vargo, 50, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following an April 12 crash. Police said Vargo tested positive for cocaine.

Butler Twp

June 2 — Mark Jeffrey Lesseski, 60, of Sarver, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following an April 8 traffic stop. Police said Lesseski had a crack rock.

June 3 — Shane Klavon, 32, of Gibsonia, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a May 9 traffic stop. Police said Klavon had a blood alcohol content of 0.172%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

June 4 — Charles William Holmes, 50, of Slippery Rock, was charged with four misdemeanor DUI counts following a May 15 traffic stop. Police said Holmes tested positive for THC.

Cranberry Twp

June 2 — Aaron Riccelli, 36, of Cranberry Township, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of strangulation, reckless endangerment and simple assault following a May 29 incident. Police said Riccelli grabbed a woman’s throat and arms leaving bruises on both wrists and held a knife to her throat.

Slippery Rock

June 2 — Gabrielle Evelyn Rugh, 33, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a June 2 crash. Police said Rugh showed signs of impairment and was found with multiple opened and sealed alcoholic beverages in the vehicle.

State police, Butler

June 2 — Kenneth John Fetter Jr., 47, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following an April 12 traffic stop in Franklin Township. Police said Fetter had a glass smoking device with suspected marijuana residue.

June 2 — John Michael Burick, 21, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a March 30 traffic stop in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Burick showed signs of impairment.

June 2 — Nathan Andrew Cornell, 35, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a June 2 incident in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Cornell hit a woman on the forehead with a wooden tray resulting in bruising and swelling.

June 2 — John P. Wolford, 66, of Boyers, was charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanor simple assault following a May 31 incident in Marion Township. Police said Wolford used both hands to choke a woman and punched her multiple times in the head. Police found a small laceration on the woman’s left forearm after the altercation.

June 2 — Codie J. Stevenson, 21, of Butler, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts following a Feb. 8 crash in Center Township. Police said Stevenson tested positive for THC and had a blood alcohol content of 0.119%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

June 3 — Trina Marie Holderman, 36, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a March 7 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Holderman had a clear plastic bag with an unknown white powder and a glass smoking pipe with filters.

June 3 — Rae Lee Holderman, 37, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of controlled substance possession and one misdemeanor count of drug paraphernalia possession following a March 7 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Holderman had a sandwich bag with amphetamine, 13 pills of assorted colors and a glass smoking pipe with burnt residue.

June 3 — Peter Nolan Hamlin, 51, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a March 7 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Hamlin had a glass smoking pipe with burnt residue.

June 3 — Damon Michael Wentzel, 32, of Hilliards, was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession following a May 29 traffic stop in Concord Township. Police said Wentzel had suspected marijuana.

June 4 — Jessica Diane King, 46, of Kittanning, was charged with felony transfer of firearm and misdemeanor statement under penalty following an April 24 incident in Donegal Township. Police said King answered falsely on a firearms application.

State police, Bureau of Patrol

June 2 — Brandon James Steere, 33, of Butler, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts following a Feb. 15 crash in Summit Township. Police said Steere tested positive for THC.
