Seneca Valley graduate Matt Vogt is among the first trio to tee off Thursday at the 2025 U.S. Open. He and fellow competitors Kevin Velo and Trent Phillips will begin their day at 6:45 a.m.

Velo, of Danville, Calif., is also making his U.S. Open debut after grabbing one of seven qualifying spots at the Canada final qualifier near Toronto. Phillips, of Inman, S.C., qualified at the Durham, N.C., qualifier.

Vogt, a two-time Indianapolis Open champion, posted an 8-under 136 at Wine Valley Golf Club in Walla Walla, Wash., to earn entry into the U.S. Open.
