Like most places of worship in Butler County, Family Life Church in Center Township had a special Memorial Day service on Sunday morning, May 25.

It would have been derailed if not for the help of an Armstrong Cable repairman who came to fix the church’s flagpole, which was a central part of the service.

“The string had broken, so we had no way of getting it up the pole,” said church board member Steve Harding. “We ended up contracting Armstrong, and they came out and restrung the string for us.”

“They’re not just for cable and phone, but they made our Memorial Day service possible,” Harding added.
