Grauert

Donald “Ron” Grauert, 89, of Butler, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025, at UPMC Passavant-McCandless.

Born June 8, 1935, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Tony Grauert and Mary Behun Grauert.

Ron served in the Army Reserve. He had worked for LTV and Verizon. He was a member of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church the Socialables and North Hills Historic Auto Club. He volunteered for Adult Literacy of Butler County.

Surviving is his wife, Linda (DiSalvo) Grauert, whom he married Oct. 19, 1979.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Tony Grauert; and two sisters, Dolly Tunder and Rose Kondas.

GRAUERT — Friends of Donald “Ron” Grauert, who died Thursday, May 8, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 12, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, at St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, Butler.

Interment will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
