Betty Joyce Robinson Abdon, 94, of Mars, born in Kentucky on Dec. 21, 1930, died Saturday, April 26, 2025. She is rejoicing in heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ruel and Thelma Fallis Robinson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 75 years, Fred Abdon; daughter, Becky (Tom) Gooch; grandchildren, Charles (Tracy Flowers), Jeffrey (Trina) and Travis (Jamie) Gooch; and great-grandchildren, Ashley, Lillie, Maura and Nekoda Gooch.

Of utmost importance to Betty, was her faith in God, her love for family and her time spent with friends. Betty practiced Hebrews 13:2 “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unaware.”

ABDON — A celebration of life for Betty Joyce Robinson Abdon, who died Saturday, April 26, 2025, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Lifepointe Alliance Church, ​997 Route 228, Mars.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Visiting Nurses Association Hospice, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001.
