Jonathan Bodema
Jonathan Fitzgerald Bodema, 61, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at UPMC Passavant.
Born in Butler on Jan. 16, 1964, he was a son of the late Nancy Davidson.
Jonathan was employed at Prometheus Polymers.
He was a member of Old Union Presbyterian Church.
He enjoyed camping, and he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his wife, who was not only his partner in life, but his best friend.
Jonathan is survived by his wife, Lori K. Sobeck Bodema, whom he married May 8, 2004; two brothers, Howard Bodema, of Chicora, and Russ Bodema, of Butler; two sisters, Kim Boring, of Butler, and Tina Bodema, of Butler; a number of nieces and nephews; and Koko, his faithful dog and the joy of his life.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
BODEMA — There will be no visitation for Jonathan Fitzgerald Bodema, who died Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, May 10, at Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, with the Rev. Dr. Peter C. de Vries, pastor, officiating.
