Miller

Carl Eugene Miller passed peacefully with his family by his side Sunday, May 4, 2025.

Born Oct. 25, 1941, he was the son of the late George and Jean (Peffer) Miller.

Carl loved spending time with his family, and teaching his daughter and grandchildren things, including how to ski. He enjoyed kayaking, golfing, cars and could fix almost anything. Above all, Carl loved his family very much.

After serving in the U.S. Navy, Carl worked for many years in the computer center for Slippery Rock University.

Carl leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Shirley (Baughman) Miller; his daughter, Wendy (Simon) Beeching; and grandchildren, Hannah Glass (Ryan Rodriguez), Sean Beeching and Evangeline Beeching.

MILLER — Friends and family of Carl Eugene Miller, who died Sunday, May 4, 2025, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 9, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Colorectal Cancer Alliance, colorectalcancer.org/get-involved/give/donate-now.

Carl will be laid to rest at English Lutheran Cemetery in Zelienople.
