Slippery Rock University and Butler County Community College will hold commencement ceremonies during next week to celebrate graduating students moving on and into the world.

SRU will see more than 1,600 students receive degrees at its spring commencement ceremonies, which will take place Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10 at Morrow Field House. Grad students will have their ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday, while undergrad ceremonies will be held at 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Meanwhile, BC3 will hold its commencement ceremony for around 500 students at 5 p.m. May 14. The ceremony will be held at the Field House on BC3’s main campus in Butler Township.
