Townhome development approved at Middlesex Crossing
MIDDLESEX TWP — Middlesex Crossing, already home to a dentist’s office, an American Natural convenience store, an Anytime Fitness, and a Butler Brew Works location, is on the verge of getting some new townhomes.
At its monthly meeting on Wednesday evening, Sept. 18, the Middlesex Township supervisors approved NWPA Property Development’s preliminary land development plan for the “Highpointe at Middlesex Crossing” townhome development.
Prior to this, the board also granted NWPA’s request to change the “masterplan approval” for the parcel of land from retail use to residential use.
A public hearing was held on the project during the supervisors meeting on Aug. 21. According to the minutes of the August meeting, the public hearing lasted 29 minutes before it was closed.
Although the preliminary land development plan has been approved, according to section 150-12 of the Middlesex Township code, the developers must submit their final land development plan within five years, or “in accordance with the phasing plan approved by the Township.”
