The Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh is inviting astronomy fans to evening stargazing events.

The association will conduct Star Parties starting at 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Aug. 9 and 10, at the Nicholas E. Wagman Observatory in Deer Lakes Park, weather permitting. Visitors will have an opportunity to view the moon, star clusters, double stars and many other celestial wonders.
